World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is being celebrated every year on 21 March to raise public awareness for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome.
The President honoured 29 outstanding women achievers for their exceptional work towards women empowerment, especially the marginalized and vulnerable women. Overall, 28 awards were conferred, 14 awards each for the years 2020 and 2021.
World Hearing Day is a campaign held each year on March 3 by the Office of Prevention of Blindness and Deafness of the World Health Organization (WHO).
The Ministry of Education has launched a campaign titled 'Bhasha Certificate Selfie'. This campaign aims to promote the Bhasha Sangam mobile app which allows users to learn 100+ sentences of daily use in as many as 22 scheduled Indian languages.
