The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal announced the setting up of a Skill Institute on Marine Studies at Guwahati in Assam under Indian Maritime University, Chennai.
The Central Government has set up a committee which will be headed by Ashish Shiradhonkar to develop a technological platform streamlining the appeal filing process related to direct and indirect taxation matters.
