Kolkata has topped the list of cities with the least number of cognizable offences per lakh of its population, making it the safest city in India in 2021, as per the latest National Crime Records Bureau Report.
As per the list released by the Central Zoo Authority based on management and effectiveness, the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Darjeeling has given the highest percentage of 83.
