The Prime Minister of Malta, Robert Abela has been sworn in for a second term after his ruling Labour Party won the 2022 general election in a landslide victory.
The Ministry of Education has launched a campaign titled 'Bhasha Certificate Selfie'. This campaign aims to promote the Bhasha Sangam mobile app which allows users to learn 100+ sentences of daily use in as many as 22 scheduled Indian languages.
The President honoured 29 outstanding women achievers for their exceptional work towards women empowerment, especially the marginalized and vulnerable women. Overall, 28 awards were conferred, 14 awards each for the years 2020 and 2021.
