Every year Press freedom Day or World Press Freedom Day is celebrated on the 3rd May to evaluate press freedom around the world and to pay tribute to journalists who have lost their lives in the exercise of their profession.
Jharkhand has been selected by the World Health Organisation for the World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) Award-2022 in recognition of its efforts in controlling tobacco consumption.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) ranked India 54th position (down from 46th in 2019) with a score of 4.1 in its Travel and Tourism Development Index 2021.
