The QS World University Rankings 2023 was released by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a global higher education think-tank and compilers of the world's most-consulted university rankings portfolio. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) of the US is the top university for the 11th consecutive year. The second place went to the University of Cambridge, followed by Stanford University.
The Controller General of Accounts (CGA) released the fiscal deficit for 2021-22, which improved to 6.71 per cent of the GDP over the revised budget estimate of 6.9 per cent.
The Reserve Bank of India raised the Additional Factor of Authentication (AFA) limit from Rs. 5,000 to Rs 15,000 per transaction for e-mandates on cards, Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPIs) and UPI for recurring transactions.
