The World Gold Council (WGC) in its 'Gold Demand Trends 2021' Report has informed that the global gold demand rose 10 percent in 2021 to 4,021.3 tonnes.
Ministry of Education has approved a new scheme named "New India Literacy Programme for the period FYs 2022-2027 to cover all the aspects of Adult Education. The total outlay of the "New India Literacy Programme" is Rs.1037.90 crore for FYs 2022-27.
The Ministry of Textiles has further extended the timeline for submission of applications under the PLI Scheme for Textiles. Total financial outlay- Rs 10,683 crore.
