India's external debt rose by 8.2 per cent year-on-year to USD 620.7 billion as of March 2022, as per the Union Finance Ministry's 'Status Report on India's External Debt 2021-22'.
A committee headed by retired Supreme Court judge Ranjana Prakash Desai was set up by the Uttarakhand government to prepare a draft of the Uniform Civil Code.
