BRO celebrates its 62nd raising day on 7th May. The Border Roads Organization was established on May 7, 1960, as a premier road construction agency under the Ministry of Defence.
The International Day of Light is being celebrated on 16 May each year, the anniversary of the first successful operation of the laser in 1960 by physicist and engineer, Theodore Maiman.
