Andhra Pradesh government has signed an MoU with the US-based Parley for the Oceans, to clean the shores of the State and make Andhra Pradesh plastic free by 2027.
Vikram K. Doraiswami was appointed India's new High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, considered an important posting in view of growing strategic ties between the two countries.
The administration informed Parliament that concrete actions were taken by the RBI and government-assisted banks in recovering bad loans of more than Rs 8.6 lakh crore over the previous eight fiscal years.
