At the end of the sixth day of the Khelo India University Games in Bengaluru the Jain University continues to be at the helm winning the highest number of medals.
India won the gold medal in the final match by defeating Japan. Shreya Singla hails from Bathinda, Punjab. She made her country proud by winning gold in badminton during Deaflympics. The medal came in a team event, after defeating Japan in the finals.
The Ministry of Culture, India entered the Guinness Book of World Records by waving 78,220 flags simultaneously at the 'Veer Kunwar Singh Vijayotsav' event in Bhojpur, Bihar.
