The Government of India has joined hands with the Government of Israel to create 150 'Villages of Excellence' in 12 States of the country, to help farmers to adopt the latest technology in the farm sector.
The top five states in terms of increase in forest cover are Andhra Pradesh (647 sq km), Telangana (632 sq km), Odisha (537 sq km), Karnataka (155 sq km) and Jharkhand (110 sq km).
The Government of India has recently extended the tenure of the Interim Chairman of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India Navrang Saini for 3 months till March 05, 2022.
