The Government of India has approved a USD 1 billion line of credit (LoC) for Sri Lanka, to help the Island nation for importing food, essential items and medicine.
The theme of the 2022 International Day of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade is "Stories of Courage: Resistance to Slavery and Unity against Racism".
