Child marriage became illegal in the Philippines as a law banning the practice took effect in a country where one in six girls enters wedlock before the age of 18.
The Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya launched the revamped website and mobile app of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS). The website is www.cghs.gov.in and the mobile app is called "MyCGHS". In 1954 the CHHS scheme was launched.
The GST Council decided to defer the increase in the rate for textiles to 12% from 5%. It has referred the matter to a panel of Ministers, to review Rate Rationalisation.
