A bag contains eighteen 25-paise coins, seventeen 50-paise coins, twentytwo one-rupee coins, nine 2-rupee coins and three 5-rupee coins. What is the total amount in the bag (Ans in rupees) ?
Let 'N' is the smallest number which divided by 13 and 16 leaves respective remainders of 2 and 5.Required number = (LCM of 13 and 16) - (common difference of divisors and remainders) = (208) - (11) = 197.
Average of 8 consecutive odd numbers = 656/8 = 82∴ Fourth number = 82 - 1 = 81∴ First numbers = 75Average of 4 even numbers = 87∴ Second even number = 87 - 1 = 86Second largest even number = 88∴ Required sum = 75 + 88 = 163
